Filipino Day in Ireland is celebrated on the nearest Monday to the 12th of June.

Filipino Day in Ireland is one of the biggest gatherings of the year. It can be compared to the famous Barrio Fiesta in London. There is always a lot of fun and exhibitions of Filipino art, music and food. The whole Irish community praises this event similarly to e.g. finals of Pinoy Idol, which is held traditionally before Christmas.

Organization

2009 event of the Filipino day was held in St. Anne's park in Dublin on the 12th of June. There were live music stages, stalls and a parade. Crowds exceeded 9,000 visitors.
